The Voice Season 2 Episode 20: Final 4 Performances

- Jermaine Paul - I Believe I Can Fly
Really??? This song?? Anyway,he sang it pretty great until the later half of the performance where he screeched the song to oblivion. But I must say this is his best performance in this competition.
- Juliet Simms - Crazy
Why no original songs for the contestants this season?? Instead they have to sing a song from their coaches in order to show appreciation to them. Yuck!!! Glorifying the coaches even more. This is rather boring performance from Juliet. I was underwhelmed.
- Chris Mann & Christina Aguilera - The Prayer
I'm worried about Christina's dress. But overall,this is pretty nice duet from both of them. I really enjoyed it.
- Tony Lucca - 99 Problems
Wow country arrangement of Jay Z song. He didn't seem to sing the word "bitch". I think this performance is solid. LOL at Adam and Christina bickering over the meaning of the song. I don't understand why Christina has such hate on Tony. What happened on Mickey Mouse club back then?
- Chris Mann - The Voice Within
This is an amazing performance. Don't know why but so far Chris has been pretty impressive tonight. I'm really fixated with both of his performances so far. Usually he bored me to death. I love how he makes this Christina Aguilera song sounds brand new to my ears.
- Juliet Simms & CeeLo Green - Born To Be Wild
Awful!!! The worst performance of the night.
- Tony Lucca & Adam Levine - Yesterday
Very nice!!! I love the guitar pick of this performance. Really pretty!!
- Jermaine Paul - God Gave Me You
He dedicated this song to Blake. Just okay for me.
- Chris Mann - You Raise Me Up
Christina is crying!!! This song is such an overdone song. Can't be more cliche than this song but somehow Chris sold this performance to me. I really liked it. Maybe because I'm in emotional trainwreck tonight that I loved all of his performances.
- Jermaine Paul & Blake Shelton - Soul Man
I like it!! So much fun!!! I'm surprised.
- Tony Lucca - Harder To Breathe
I prefer Casey Abrams version on American Idol's last year. Wow Christina is texting during Tony speech to Adam. Rude!!!
- Juliet Simms - Freebird
Better than her Cryin' performance but can't beat last week's performance or even Roxanne. The production went way over the top for me.

American Idol Season 11: Top 5 iTunes Studio Recording Review

60's Theme

- Hollie Cavanagh (Hollie did a nice vocal in this song but I don't think anybody outside her fanbase would love this recording. I think most people already pretty tired hearing another River Deep Mountain High)
- Phillip Phillips (I still can't get over why they slammed Colton for September's rearrangement but love this atrocious Phillip's butchering of this classic song. At least September still has its original melody,albeit turned into emo sound. I don't know with this Phillip's arrangement,the song is unrecognizable. He totally got rid of all the melody in this song. The guitar in the end of the song is pretty nice however)
- Skylar Laine (I really enjoyed this recording,maybe because Skylar picked a song that I've never heard before. Although I don't know if the original song sound country like this. Skylar countrified this song to the max,but I like it)
- Jessica Sanchez (I can't with this song. The background vocal in the beginning is too weird for me to listen to. For me,this is one of the worst song choice of this season. Even my younger brother said: "Why don't this show die already!!" when yesterday he heard this song from my room. Easily the worst recording from Jessica,because of the song)
- Joshua Ledet (the vocal is good as always from Joshua. But this recording is perfect only for soul or throwback era lover. Not for me)

BritPop Theme

- Hollie Cavanagh (the guitar is very nice in this recording,Hollie vocal is better than her 1st recording this week. Too bad I'm not a fan of Bleeding Love. But overall,a very good job from Hollie)
- Phillip Phillips (once again the ahh whisper in this song probably triggered those power votes for Phillip. Everybody mentioned Phillip can't hit his falsetto,etc. But his voice didn't annoy me in this recording. Overall,it's good recording)
- Skylar Laine (oh gawd,this song is so cheesy,and the arrangement made it even worse. It's almost unlistenable for me. Skylar's worst recording)
- Jessica Sanchez (flailing!!! Stunning vocal from Jessica. Probably her best recording)
- Joshua Ledet (I love the harp on this recording. I always love the sound of that instrument. Very heavenly. Still not loving Joshua's tone but he did a great job in the end. Same with his live performance)

American Idol Season 11: Top 5 Result Show

- Oh time for result already in the beginning of the show. I agree with Jimmy,it was one of the best performance this season. I was very impressed with Joshua Ledet. For sure,recording deal for Joshua. Jacob Lusk must be so envious right now.
- Coldplay performed Paradise. Probably the cachiest song from them. Usually I don't like this band.
- WTF Phillip Phillips is safe again!!!!! There you go,he's going to win this show. Fuck my office pools!! How come we can't get rid of this guy??? Even his weakest night in this competitive battle of Top 5 can't sack him off this show. Unbelievable!!!
- Hollie Cavanagh is in bottom 2.
- Carrie Underwood performed Blown Away. Solid performance,I thought. Although her voice is a bit flat. I don't know about this song. Definitely not country at all. I don't like the song. I think the studio recording is way better. LOL at the wind & glitter. Very over production!! Look,Angelina legs!!
- Wow,Jimmy thought Jessica Sanchez' dress was too racy. Luckily,she's not in bottom 2. She got the votes. I wonder why Skylar Laine didn't get as much the country votes as Lauren Alaina last year.
- WTF Coldplay performs again!!! I thought Carrie gonna perform twice.
- Sigh. Skylar Laine is eliminated. Where's the country votes that propelled Scotty & Lauren to the finale last year?? Skylar is better than two of them combined. This season is getting worse and worse.

American Idol Season 11: Top 5 Performances (60's Theme & Brit Pop)

 60's Theme
- Hollie Cavanagh - River Deep Mountain High
Better than my expectation. Hollie really listened to Steven Van Zandt advice. She ripped the stage. This performance is different than Pia Toscano's version. While Hollie rocked the stage more,I still prefer Pia's vocal. But I hope Hollie will break the curse that this song has.
- Phillip Phillips - The Letter
Same thing from P2 again every weeks. I just can't take this performance seriously anymore. I thought I would love the arrangement but I don't. P2 face antic bothers me. WTF at the judges overpraise?? So Phillip can throw out the song's melody while Colton can't??? I hope America will boot him tomorrow. His girlfriend might cost him some votes.
- Skylar Laine - Fortunate Son
Brilliant!! I love it!! Skylar is fierce,confident and she killed this performance. I don't know if she understands what this song means though. Everybody said this song was an anti war song back in the day. Anyway,I think Skylar is my last hope for a girl winner this season.
-  Joshua Ledet & Phillips Phillips - You've Lost That Loving Feeling
One of the dullest performance this season!! Why Phillip is even smiling?? Didn't he read the lyrics?? Oh gawd,Joshua is in denial. Trying to fool us that he's fighting over P2 girlfriend. Yeah,right!!
- Jessica Sanchez - Proud Mary
I hate hate this song. I don't want to hear it anymore. Jessica sang it the best she could. She even worked the stage well.
- Joshua Ledet - Ain't Too Proud To Beg
Solid!! Very safe song choice for Joshua!! Really Steven?? Joshua is in Top 2 Idol of all time??? Gawd!!! Joshua is the most overrated contestants I've ever seen on Idol.

Brit Pop

- Hollie Cavanagh - Bleeding Love
Hollie's totally back in the running for the last 3 weeks of strong performances. I didn't know she had it in her. I agree with Randy. She peaked at the right time. Now,she channels her emotion and her heart when she sings. Not stays on her head again. She could win this if she keeps it up every weeks.
- Phillip Phillips - Time of The Season
This is better than his 1st performance. The ahh whisper could bring orgasm to the frauen out there. Who's your daddy lyric will melt the heart of every girls and older women. I think overall it's pretty nice performance albeit a bit boring.
- Jessica Sanchez,Hollie Cavanagh,Skylar Laine - Higher and Higher
Boring arrangement,pretty solid vocal from 3 of them. I'm not a fan of duet or trio unless they can work the harmony really well.
- Skylar Laine - You Don't Have To Say You Love Me
Skylar is a pro at conveying emotion,telling the story of the song and acting on the stage. This is the best version I've ever heard of this song. I'm so impressed by her.
- Jessica Sanchez - You Are So Beautiful
Outstanding!! Easily the best of the night & one of Jessica's best performance. She took the time to sing every words. What a stunning delivery!! Almost like Katharine McPhee's Somewhere Over The Rainbow. I don't want any of the girl to go home tomorrow.
- Joshua Ledet - To Love Somebody
OMG INCREDIBLE!!!!! I took back my last comment on Jessica. This was the best performance of the night. Easily Joshua's best performance ever on this show. Flawless!!! This is the performance that deserved standing ovation. WTF J Lo,he's the best singer in the last 50 years??? HYPERBOLE!!!!

Phillip should go home tomorrow. He's been way underperforming lately.

The Voice Season 2 Episode 19: Semifinals Result Show

- Dia Frampton performs Don't Kick The Chair with Kid Cudi. Pretty awesome song.
- Christina Millian showed last year's Top 4. Ouch,finally The Voice care about last year Top 4. I can't imagine how Javier and the others feel that the show don't give a shit about them.
- Christina split the point 50/50 for her team. Coward!! Lindsey needs all the help she can get. Chris Mann advances 104/96 over Lindsey Pavao. Darn it!!! If Christina put more points on Lindsey,she could advance. Her songs always charting on iTunes!! She's very marketable!!
- Vicci Martinez performs Come Along with CeeLo Green. Very nice!!! I loved Vicci's original song from last year. One of the highlight of that season for me.
- Adam gave 60/40 score to Tony Lucca over Katrina Parker. As if,he needs any more help from Adam. Holy shit!!!! Katrina would've advanced if based on America votes alone. Tony got 108/92. If Adam split it in half,Katrina would advance with 52% of America votes. Unbelievable that Katrina won the America votes more than the major favorite with 500.000 Twitter followers Tony Lucca.

- I'm so fuming right now. Fuck this shit!!
- Beverly McClellan sings Money Changes Everything with Cyndi Lauper. That was fantastic performance!! Beverly always delivers the good on the stage. I can't believe that last year we got 2 openly lesbian on Top 4,yet this year already sausage fest on this show. Frauen already took over The Voice.
- Javier Colon performs Drop in The Ocean. He reminds us once again how talented he is and how vocally amazing Javier is.
- Blake split 50/50 for his team. Jermaine Paul got landslide win over Erin Willett. 123/77 which basically 73% win over Erin. Big black penis over big vagina. Gasp!!! Shocking!! Not.

- CeeLo split 60/40 for Juliet. Yay!! Thankfully Juliet advances based on America votes too. 121/79 which basically 61% over Jamar 39%. Yay for at least 1 girl on Top 4.

The Voice Season 2 Episode 18: Semifinals

- Blake,you're not going to win this show. Your team are the weakest!!
- What is CeeLo wearing?? This thing about his cat is getting old really fast!!
- Tony Lucca - How Do You Like Me Now
Easily his best performance on this show. This song really suits him. Tony Lucca probably will advance from his team based on his fanbase. What's going on between him and Christina?? Why Christina always said some negative things about Tony?? It seems like she has some grudge against this guy.
- Erin Willett - Without You
This song choice seemed good on paper but holy moly. She's underpitch in the beginning and continued to be pitchy the whole performance. The band isn't helping either. They played so hard that I cant' barely hear Erin's voice. Uh,she's emotional again. That will get her some pity votes.
- Chris Mann - Ave Maria
I still don't get what special about Chris. I always don't care watching him perform. Once again,I tuned out really fast when he performed this song. He has good voice,for sure. But I can't bring myself to care for his performance. But it looks like he will be safe again tomorrow because he's male.
- Jamar Rogers - If You Don't Know Me By Now
Oh no this song!! Jamar made this song current,but the bandzilla continued to take the word "bandzilla" to a whole new level. They're so loud that I almost lost my hearing. Sigh. I think Jamar sang this song great. His best performance for me. Somehow,I can see why this guy is Danny Gokey's BFF. They have the same aura about them.
- Team Adam & Team CeeLo sang All These Things That I've Done. Good!!
- Jermaine Paul - Open Arms
I don't understand why this guy is still here on Team Blake. I wish Jordis or Raelynn are still on this competition. However,I have to say this performance is Jermaine's best by a huge miles compared to his previous performances. He oversang a bit but overall it's pretty good. I like Open Arms btw so that helped.
- Katrina Parker - Killing Me Softly
I think this is pretty solid,her vocal is pretty and creamy. Her mom made me cry,I love her relationship with her parents. Adam's reaction on the rehearsal made my expectation higher. I expected big notes from her. But oh well,she still sang pretty fantastic.
- Blake performed his single,Over. He strained so hard singing this song over this ridiculous band. I cringed the whole performance,it almost like he's gonna pop up his vein anytime soon. The contestants don't have to worry about competing with their rival,they need to focus their attention on the band. I'm so angry right now with this loud band.
- Lindsey Pavao - Skinny Love
Of course,obscure song choice for mainstream viewers. But I appreciate this about Lindsey. She's defnitely in her wheelhouse. A fresh air indeed hearing accoustic performance without the loud band. I don't know whether she can beat Chris Mann though. Lindsey is so unusually very smiley today. I like that!!! Why Christina hugging her team again and again?? She's so weird.
- Team Blake & Team Christina singing Edge of Glory. The beginning was nice,with the spotlight etc but after that it began to crumble into massive colossal trainwreck. Holy shit!!! I've never seen a song performed this awful!!!! Their voice don't match at all with each others.
- Juliet Simms - It's A Man's Man's World

Juliet's bf is hot!!! I feel her struggle in this music business. OMG,holy crap!!! This performance is phenomenal!!!! Holy mother of god!!! I almost stood up and clap in my room. My jaw truly dropped to the floor. If she doesn't win this show,I'm gonna cut a bitch. She deserves the crown based on this performance. Unbelievable!!!! One of the best performance I've seen this year from any singing show.
