American Idol Season 9 Top 4 Result Show

Boring intro.

I don't like this Fantasia's song. I prefer "Even Angel" that she sang on Oprah Winfrey Show. However,when she hits the bridge and singing those words of advice,I love that part.

Casey James is safe. There goes my bonus points.

Daughtry sing September. It almost knocked me to sleep. Bzzzz.

Lee Dewyze goes home........to Chicago for homecoming. Nice there,Ryan!! You almost got me.

I couldn't careless about Bon Jovi. Meh.

Mike & Crystal. Who goes home?? It's Michael Lynche. Yay!! Crystal is crying (she wanna win this thing,really!!). After that,Mike's singing yesterday's awful song and they shoot him and his wife for the rest of the show until the end. I'm so tired of the baby pimping.

American Idol Season 9 Top 6 Studio Recordings Review

- Lee Dewyze (surprise surprise,Lee's voice unrecognizable again in the booth. It's like he can't stay on pitch on live performance,and sing excellentlly on pitch in the recording. I don't like the beginning verse though,it's too jarring toward the chorus. I wish they smoothed that part. Oh well!!)
- Michael Lynche (woah,I'm very impressed. Mike sounds so good in this recording. Full of emotion,his spot on vocal,very emotional song,definitely capable of being a love song to be played on radio)
- Casey James (Casey brings it on again this week!! He delivers a great recording,almost as good as Jealous Guy. Sometimes the arrangement is too cheesy and loungey. I prefer the background music in his live performance. More current than this recording one)
- Crystal Bowersox (I feel like in a western cowboy movie with this old arrangement. The recording isn't that bad. With the perfect blues folk country style that Crystal perfectly sings. A lil bit faster arrangement that the one in the show. But not my cup of tea)
- Aaron Kelly (hmm the arrangement is verging on sleepy for me. But Aaron still got a nice vocal in his recording. I can't wait for his album)
- Siobhan Magnus (I love the flavor of rock in this country song. Siobhan did it nicely. Although some people don't like her nasally vocal but I love it. I think it's a pretty good recording from Siobhan. Love the scream at the end)

Overall I'm very bias this week because I love Shania Twain songs and I always imagine her voice in my mind when I'm listening to this kids.

I hated the opening of the show.

Oh gosh,WTH was that Kara wearing??It's like she's transforming into another person. Very old lady with so much botox and wearing that outfit to dispel the cold weather. Geez.

Can't we stop with the lip synching please?? I wanna hear the kids singing those song with their own voice,not the back recording.

Jason Derulo was amazing. One of the best performance from guest artists. Kara must be ecstatic that her prodigy is so successful.

David Archuleta continues to impress me. His performance gave me goosebumps all over my body. His vocal is the best vocal I've heard this year from Idol. And his pony hair is so cute. LMAO that he's trying not to cut his hair.

Rihanna was okay. I'm tired of the whole over the top performance from her and Ke$ha. Only Lady Gaga can pull that off.

Shocking elimination?? I wonder who it is. All 3 girls safe. Well,that's not shocking.

I can't imagine if Lee,Casey,Tim are in bottom 3. Thanks God,they're safe.

Michael,Andrew,Aaron are in bottom 3. Please Aaron don't go!! Andrew is safe. WTF!! Michael is going home.

He performed one heck of a performance and the judges saved him. Yay!!!

I hope next week Andrew and Tim will be going home.

Can't wait for Adam Lambert as a mentor.

American Idol Season 9 Top 16 Guys Performances

- Lee Dwyze (oh my gosh,I loved this rendition!!So current & didn't bored me to death like most of the girls performances. Watch out for the pitchy notes though,Lee always tends to ignore that.Because sometimes the notes is verging on excruciating.)
- Alex Lambert (I loved Taylor Hicks's version of this song back in the day but Alex did a good job with it too.A little bit all over the place vocally and the arrangement is a bit faster but still solid)
- Tim Urban (oh my Jesus Lord!!It's so fantastic!!I never in a million years predicted he would make my jaw dropped like what he just did with this performance.Who knows he could soar like that??One of the best performances from the guys this season,I think)
- Andrew Garcia (STFU judges!!I loved this rendition!!His best performance so far since Straight Up,me think.Thanks God,the guys oversang the girls so far tonight.I love every one of their performances,maybe because they pick a current song choice rather than dull old medieval song)
- Casey James (beautiful performance.He hasn't performed as good as his Hollywood Week's performance but this is the right track for Casey. Country bluesy genre.He looked so handsome tonight btw.)
- Aaron Kelly (his beginning notes were too low,and he's swaying left & right. He should work that out because it's so distracting. Amazing vocal though,albeit shakiness in some parts)
- Todrick Hall (woah the beginning falsetto surprised me.It sounded like a female voice but he rocked that performance out tonight.He saved himself definitely from the chopping block.Nice song choice,great performance,not over the top or boring.)
- Michael Lynche (WTH!!His neo soul performance's definitely a showstopper performance so far in the competition. Although neo soul/R&B genre is not my thing but spectacular performance.He's a serious contender for sure,not just milking the wife and baby story.)

Now I'm confuse who'll be going home tomorrow from the guys.Tonight I'm definitely bias with my review because of the song choices.The more current the song choices are,the most likely I rank it higher than the older song choices.Although I try to be objective.
