American Idol 7 Top 10 Result Show

I should've trusted my guts that said Ramiele Malubay might not go home this week because of her Asian fanbase, instead Chikezie Eze went home tonight. Well, good luck for him.

Bottom 3 tonight beside Chikezie:
- Syesha Mercado (what!!!!How come??)
- Jason Castro (the fans might vote harder next week)

What I can say about tonight show is that I love Kimberly Locke,I loved her single "8th World Wonder" back then when her video clip was being shown on MTV and I still love that song today. She's so great that she's able to have her own restaurant and able to lose so much weight. I wish lot of success for her.

I can't wait for next week performances because it's Country Themes and it's surely will be a great show.

American Idol 7 Top 10 Performances (Songs From The Year They Were Born)

Tonight was pretty good, most of the contestants really stepped up their performance and came out with A game.I hope next week Country Themes will be a lot better than this. Btw did you think that Randy Jackson is more like Simon recently,I mean his criticism??

1. Syesha Mercado (wow,I never thought that she could perform better than last week, she proved us wrong that she still have a lot to offer from her)
2. Michael Johns (at last Michael showed us his contender ability, this performance was very good,it reminded me of his Hollywood's "Bohemian Rhapsody" performance. Or maybe he should sing another Queen song again next week in order to outperform everybody else???)
3. Kristy Lee Cook (hail to Kristy!!!I never thought in a million years that this "cockroach" [meaning:she always alive until the end of time] is able to sing a really great song. This was a fantastic performance and really good choice of song. I don't think she goes home tomorrow) PHOENIX OF THE DAY
4. David Archuleta (really obscure song, fortunately he performed it very well and it's very enjoyable in my ears)
5. Carly Smithson (I don't know if she could sing this song any better but I had to agree that she looked tense, maybe it's because she was in Bottom 3 last week. However, this performance was amazing vocally)
6. David Cook (he's consistently good. I think he's the only one that could battle with David Archuleta neck to neck, although this was a great performance but I didn't like the song at all,it's not catchy. Sorry!!)
7. Brooke White (LOL that she messed up the first notes, but I think she did a great job with the song because I really hate this song but she made me like it)
8. Chikezie Eze (he could have sung this one better,I don't know if Chikezie still got enough steam to survive to the top)
9. Ramiele Malubay (it's one of her best performance but still pitchy all over the place and definitely couldn't match Carrie Underwood's showstopper performance of this song)
10. Jason Castro (pretty good but I didn't get anything at all from him,it's more like same performance every week and it gets boring)

Tomorrow goner: Ramiele Malubay (finger crossed)

American Idol 7 Top 11 Result Show

Bottom 3:
- Carly Smithson (WTF!!I dare to assume that the producers might have put her there to make her fans vote for her more)
- Amanda Overmyer (right on!!)
- Kristy Lee Cook (right on!!)

Kellie Pickler performed her 1st single tonight (why didn't she perform her newest single??Btw this song is so long)

Mentor revealed tonight.Yes!!!for Dolly Parton (that means country week,i love country week)

Who went home??Amanda Overmyer (first spot and boring song choice did her in). As my prediction,me too had horrible feeling that the cockroach (Kristy Lee Cook) might outlive so many contestants.

American Idol 7 Top 11 Performances (The Beatles Songbook)

This Beatles theme back to back made me sick,it's so bad that I don't wanna hear anything Beatles again for the time being. If I have to compare it with Season 5 and 6,this season definitely lacking everything like very bad song choices, lackluster vocal, etc. It's so hard to find a handful of great performances this season, maybe in one night I can pick 3-4 songs for my taste.

1. David Archuleta (he bounced back and delivered a perfect strong performance. It's fantastic)
2. Carly Smithson (she took a slow song and sang it with conviction. This performance gave me vibe like European-Irish vibe in it lol :P)
3. David Cook (he's force to be reckoned with,if he maintain his strength,it's a good chance that he will win or ended up on Top 3)
4. Syesha Mercado (at last, a great performance from Syesha. She picked the right song and she sang it beautifully) PHOENIX OF THE NIGHT
5. Chikezie Eze (I loved his ballad performance at the beginning but he took a little bit wrong turn with the harmonica and grass country tones)
6. Michael Johns (good performance but he really needs to step it up and make this mediocre performance stop)
7. Jason Castro (wow,he learned French in few days???He's so good. Although I agree with the judges that the performance seemed corny and festival-ish)
8. Brooke White (awkward performance but it's expected from her, she's unique and I think no one in the entire Idol history that I've watched is like her)
9. Kristy Lee Cook (better than last week but the band were overwhelming for her tiny vocal)
10. Amanda Overmyer (same and same again each week, boring for me)
11. Ramiele Malubay (she should go home if she can't deliver a great performance. It's killing me when I heard her performance.

Who will go home tomorrow??Either Amanda or Kristy.

American Idol 7 Top 12 Result Show

The group performance was amazing tonight,I loved it. Katharine McPhee was so stunning, her performance was so good, that song is definitely her niche.

Bottom 3 were:
- Syesha Mercado (my prediction was right)
- Kristy Lee Cook (my prediction was right)
- David Hernandez (OMG!!)

And the one who went home was David Hernandez. What the.....!!! I felt robbed big times,Kristy should've gone home, that girl who barely survives week after week doesn't deserve there much longer. Arrghh,I'm so upset right now. It's beyond me that David Hernandez could go home this early but his song choice really killed him.

American Idol 7 Top 12 Performances (Lennon - McCartney Songbook)

It's okay for me,Carly's the only one that standout tonight, the rests were bleh......

1. Carly Smithson (one of her best performance so far,way to go Carly)
2. Michael Johns (this great song put him into my top 2 although he performed okay, after all I put up my list based on the performances and how many I will play the song again and again on my winamp)
3. Brooke White (could be better but she performed it with a heartfelt emotion, pretty good for me)
4. David Archuleta (it was so awkward,I was very nervous watching him forgetting the lyric and roaming cluelessly, but I still like his voice)
5. Jason Castro (I love this guy,his performance was very good, but he need to diversify his performance in order to stay longer in this competition.
6. David Cook (didn't like the beginning part of the song but the last part was good. Definitely reminded me of Chris Daughtry)
7. Chikezie Eze (big big improvement from disaster last week,I was proud of him) PHOENIX OF THE DAY (given to contestant who I think made a really big improvement)
8. Syesha Mercado (liked her better than last week but I don't know if she performed well to save her fate)
9. Amanda Overmyer (good performance, need to find a better song choice to make it into my top list again)
10. Ramiele Malubay (her voice is always very good but her performance always forgettable)
11. David Hernandez (it's a bad song choice for him, this performance killed his momentum,it's a song that usually will throw the contestant out of the competition)
12. Kristy Lee Cook (I like the country sound of it but the performance was disaster-earthquake-typhoon-poop. She got to go tomorrow. If she's not,it's an injustice to the other contestants)

American Idol 7 Top 16 Results Show (The Top 12 Revealed)

A little bit beyond my prediction especially Danny,I thought he's going to stay forever like Sanjaya. Well,Sanjaya universe definitely unbeatable.

The contestants who're wailing right now are:
- Kady Malloy (she should've sang Britney Spears, she didn't bring anything to the show, hearing her performance yesterday made me want to destroy my television set. And tonight my mom said, she looked much older hahaha)
- Luke Menard (looking at his montage, his expression when he passed every rounds was very weird)
- Asia'h Epperson (I was little bit shock that she went home,it turned out her passed away father cannot save her anymore. I really liked her performance yesterday though. I hope the best for her career in the future)
- Danny Noriega (it's weird that after the article on MSNBC about gay Idol,he went home. Did the producers cut him or he really didn't get enough votes?? Idol's missing one of ingredients on Top 12 because Danny's not there,he's so funny and I think he should join the Top 12 line up)

Blake Lewis's performance was mediocre,he didn't look like a runner up at all......he looked like a mere contestant for me. His album is flopped and his fans don't support him much on the sales market.

American Idol 7 Top 16 (Girls Performances - 80's Themes

What's up with the judges tonight?? They were getting crazier and most importantly Paula (what the hell??Why did she act like that??It's that because she didn't get enough sleep or she took some kind of medication, huh!!!).

Well, the girls were awesome tonight although most of them were pitchy in notes,it's very hard to find someone who as perfect as Melinda Doolittle this season. The good ones still sing the song with overthinking and the bad ones definitely ruin the song.

1. Brooke White (great performance from her,Carrie's version was better than this but it's unique nevertheless and I loved it)
2. Asia'h Epperson (she always puts her personality into the song, that's why people love her. Her performance was fun, enjoyable and could be a hit although pitchy in some part)
3. Carly Smithson (i thought she could have done better than that,I know she can sings very well. However this was very good performance, once again she can sings and belted high notes. Wonder why she wears the same clothes like last week?!)
4. Kristy Lee Cook (at last her kind of groove, she's very good at country,I'm a fan of this performance, watch out though for the high notes,it can be painful to hear, and talk about her makeup ----she looked like old desperate housewife)
5. Amanda Overmyer (at first I didn't like this one,but in the end the performance was quite good for me,it's enjoyable and interesting although what happened with her??She looked very sad and wasn't listening to the judges at all. It's like she's being forced to sing a song, perform on that way and dress on this way by the producers)
6. Syesha Mercado (good performance but a bit screechy in some parts)
7. Ramiele Malubay (definitely forgettable and I certainly don't have anything to say to comment on Ramiele. I think she's a good singer, verging on mediocre and it's not likely that she'll sing anything showstopper on this season)
8. Kady Malloy (that was very painful to hear and watch,Katharine McPhee sang this one better,Kady should go home tomorrow. She has more potential but she doesn't bring that out)

My picks for tomorrow elimination: Kady Malloy and this one is difficult (could be Syesha or Amanda or Kristy)

American Idol 7 Top 16 (Guys Performances - 80's Themes)

Woah,Paula was so drunk tonight,it looked like she didn't have enough sleep like what we've seen in her tv series "Hey,Paula". She was completely uttering over the top and another dimension-ish comments tonight.

Here's for my review:
1. David Hernandez (that was an amazing performance and vocal although some of it were pitchy. The fact that he nailed Celine Dion's song was unbelievable)
2. David Archuleta (this cute boy performed another great song,I loved it. However,he must tone down his licking on the lips, many people are turned off because of that)
3. David Cook (when i was watching his performance,I didn't know that the song is from Lionel Richie,I thought it was rock song. He turned pop song into rock. Way to go!!)
4. Danny Noriega (he's FIERCE!!!I liked his take on this song. Believe it or not,it's so much fun)
5. Jason Castro (tonight he might released himself from the cannon fodder's fate,he's getting better and building fanbase everywhere. Very good performance from him)
6. Michael Johns (didn't like this one, there were many pitchy notes and his stage presence reminded me of kangaroo, jumping all over the place and I agree with some comments from Idol viewers that his eyes were vacant everytime he performs)
7. Luke Menard (improvement from last week but this might be it for him. I enjoyed it because it's fun and not horrifying although didn't stand out like the others)
8. Chikezie Eze (awkward again, good vocal but lackluster somewhere,I hated it)

I predict that Luke and Chikezie will be gone.

American Idol 7 Top 20 Results Show

Awww Alaina got voted off,I really like her. I don't want her to go yet. *sob*

The goner tonight:
-Jason Yeager (I got it right,he got eliminated tonight,if he performed few notches above what he has performed in the show,he might survive another week)
- Alexandrea Lushington (I like her, she's growing on me,too bad she's gone. It's hard for the girls, all of them are competiting neck to neck. It will be bloodbath going to Top 12. Btw it's so sweet that she and David Archuleta hugged each other)
- Alaina Whitaker (she's definitely a dark horse in this competition, maybe the voters didn't vote hard enough yesterday. The good one gone and it's gonna be less interesting next week)
- Robbie Carrico (the rocker with a wig gone,i don't have anything to say)
