American Idol Season 8 Top 7 Disco Week iTunes Recording Review
Whew it took me few days to download this,until yesterday I wasn't able to download all the songs,dunno why,the internet was sucks.
- Adam Lambert (the first impression is pretty slow arrangement on this recording,it's way slower than the live version.I'm not fond of this arrangement.Until the end of the song,I don't like this at all.Too slow.)
- Allison Iraheta (while Adam sometimes misses his mojo on the recording version,it's not like that with Allison.Her vocal and the arrangement is spot on. I love this recording. They make her vocal smoother in a good way,still rock-ish but not too rough. Perfect for the song)
- Anoop Desai (okay,I will totally miss Anoop. I mean in major way. His iTunes song is so good!!The beat is so catchy,his vocal is flawless,the combination of those element are perfect,not like the live version which is a little bit weird.Put this song on the radio and promote it,I bet it will become a hit)
- Danny Gokey (BIG FAIL!!!again for Danny. Hate the recording since the beginning,the vocal is all over the place,the arrangement is weird,don't like any single part of it whatsoever)
- Kris Allen (uh oh,the bandzilla is appearing again.I already heard it from everybody and now I'm listening to it myself. It will be so much better if Kris lose all the band and just record like what the live version was. This recording is pretty good,just the bandzilla ruined it.)
- Lil Rounds (good,maybe suitable for disco party at your home but not that great. I don't feel any umph from the recording)
- Matt Giraud (practically the worst recording from Matt.The vocal is awful,the enunciation is rambling,and everything is trainwreck)
Overall: bad week for the iTunes Recording,much like Motown Week recording.

American Idol Season 8 Top 7 (Again!!) Result Show
First they group singing in the super tight dance outfit. Kris looks hot. The dance made me LMAO.Good job,Paula!!
Lil is being walked to the far side of the stage. Are they doing the 2 groups of 3 people again this year??Unfortunately NOT!! Lil is going home. Bye bye!! Pretty good sing out!!
Who the hell were the guest performer??It's the worst performances ever on Idol. The first lady can't sing at all,she looks like someone's mom being forced to sing on the stage. The second lady's outfit is so horrible,it's bordering on tramp outfit. The last guy looks like a drunken uncle with no singing talent whatsoever. The combination of those 3 guest performers make the worst scene ever on Idol and I don't intend to watch it again.
Kris is safe. Yay!!! At last,I get full point on my Fun Office Pool!!
Danny is safe!!Shit!!I hoped he go home for shocker but oh well.....
Allison is in bottom 3!!What what what!!
David Archuleta performs "Touch My Hand" and his voice isn't good at all. It sounds very tired!! Btw here his vlog after his performance:
He's so nice though for talking to the bottom 2 and give them advice.

American Idol Season 8 Top 7 (Again!!) Performances (Disco Week)
- Lil Rounds (oh Lil!!You sing this song too soft. You're terrible at disco. There is no week where you can shine. Go home please!! Everybody who have been believing in you all along must not have an ears. I always doubt your capability and I'm right!! This song isn't supposed to sing like that,it's supposed to sing with loud and strong voice. Too bad your voice is too weak.)
- Kris Allen (OMG!!!I'm so freaking happy. Kris doesn't stumble this week,y'all!! He proves everybody wrong once again. He's very smart at arranging his song choice,very artistic as always,and blow everybody away. Complete with praise from the judges. I'm glad.)
- Danny Gokey (he's really stretching his voice on this one,although I love the song but the high notes were very painful tonight for me. It's not usual for Danny to be screechy at the high notes but I think his vocal on the upper register already worn out. One of his worst performance.)
- Allison Iraheta (weird arrangement,horrible outfit making her appearance too old for her age,but love the vocal and it's pretty good overall.)
- Adam Lambert (he can never do wrong,can't he!! He's definitely a God like his fans said. It's so beautiful and touching my heart. I'm crying. Paula's crying. Showstopper performance.)
- Matt Giraud (I'm not feelin' it. I really prefer him singing rock songs than this. The vocal is too much and all over the place. The falsetto is painful. The riff is everywhere. Very desperate. I'm beginning to hate Matt's live performance.)
- Anoop Desai (beautiful vocal as always. I love the beat so much. It's so catchy. But combining his vocal with the arrangement isn't working at all. Somebody should fire the mixer or arranger of this performance. Btw the good thing is,I've been on the fence on whether I want Anoop or Matt to stay longer,and now I want Anoop to stay longer and Matt to go home. At least Anoop delivers a perfect pitch vocal every week whereas Matt's vocal always horrendous at falsetto and riffing).

American Idol Season 8 Top 7 iTunes Recording Review
- Adam Lambert (too much mixing for Adam,it'd be a lot of better if they tone down the music surrounding his voice so that Adam's voice can apparent in the whole recording but overall not bad)
- Allison Iraheta (I don't understand why a lot of people complain about the raspiness in Allison's voice. It's great. She's recording goddess. I definitely can see her compete with Pink and Kelly Clarkson. Her voice is amazing and all that saying that it sounds like hoarse smoking woman is absurd. I love this recording)
- Anoop Desai (OMG!!I think this is the best recording this week. I always get goosebumps and tears up listening to this recording. His voice is perfect and flawless. Please,America!!Save Anoop!! Don't let him go home yet and fight the judges and producers's plan to throw him under the bus every week)
- Danny Gokey (I feel that this will be one of Danny's best recording. He isn't trying too hard to sound good. He just sing it well and slow and soft. I love it!! He doesn't ruin this song)
- Kris Allen (at first I was a little bit weirded out by the recording. I didn't feel it at all like the live version but after I listen to it few times,it's growing on me. The original song is exactly sounds like this and Kris sings it well. A lot of people love it and me too!! Kris pours enough conviction and heart to this song)
- Lil Rounds (for me,I love her performance and this recording too. I thought this week is Lil's best. Remember,I never like her at all since the beginning and don't understand all the fuzz about her vocal prowess but I'll give props to her this week. The recording is very good!!)
- Matt Giraud (as always Matt sounds fantastic on the recording. It's like heaven and earth. When he performs live sometimes his voice cracks but when he performs on the studio,it's heaven. I know that it's the editing but still watch out for Matt's recording career,it's gonna be huge)

American Idol Season 8 Top 7 Performances (Movie Soundtrack Theme)
- Allison Iraheta (little bit out of tempo at the beginning or maybe too low of a key in the band but she compensated really well in the end. Overall,it's better than David Cook. I love the raspy voice of hers and somewhat different feeling of the song)
- Anoop Desai (OMG!!The best vocal I've heard this season. Tender,strong,heartfelt,full of conviction,none off notes,on pitch all the way to the end. Anoop's best performance to date by a million light years miles. He definitely doesn't deserved to go home yet)
- Adam Lambert (very good and entertaining to the max but little bit screechy for me. I doubt many people will like that. It will be one of those polarizing performance again from Adam. However,I love his style tonight,he looked so handsome and cool. I bet many girls are dying watching that and many boys too)
- Matt Giraud (I love the performance but he's really struggling singing this difficult song. He cracked at the bridges. I prefer Daughtry's version but Matt still did a solid job. Not a trainwreck at all for sure)
- Danny Gokey (100% agree with Paula. The beginning was excruciating but in the middle through the end he killed it. It's one of his best performance so far and I love his deliverence of the lyrics. Good job,Danny!!)
- Kris Allen (obscure song indeed but very good performance and amazing vocal although I thought the performance was way too short compared to the other contestants. And I was holding my breath throughout his performance,worrying if he hit the right notes or not and he did!! Yay!!)
- Lil Rounds (I'll never believe it but Lil sang beautifully. It's her best performance. I thought Simon didn't have to buldoze her like that,it's just making her gaining million sympathy votes. And she's really good at this performance,I have to admit)
Overall,tonight was perfect. It's the best night so far this season and arguably since 2006 (Big Band's Week). Btw WTH!!! with the 2 judges team format. Please I want all 4 judges's opinion and don't waste the time with Ryan chatting with the contestants and the judges playing with each other. Straight to performance,please!!

American Idol Season 8 Top 8 Performances (Songs From The Year They Were Born)
Who was that scary man in the beginning of the show?? Ohh okay,he's from Fringe. He scared me.
Now on to the review:
- Danny Gokey (I hated the arrangement. I wanted to like him but I can't. The beginning was good and he lost me for the rest of the song. David Archuleta's version literally annihilated this one)
- Kris Allen (oh woah,I didn't like it. It's karaoke and his worst performance to date. It didn't do anything for me. I had expected spectacular performance from Kris but oh well sometimes even a great contestant can stumble. Definitely wrong song choice but it's not trainwreck,it's still tolerable to my ear)
- Lil Rounds ( I liked it. The judges blasted her with all they've got though. It's expected. She hasn't done anything good to deserve on the show one more week. It's time to go home,Lil)
- Anoop Desai (Anoop rebounded again. I love that he always rebounds when in the previous week he was horrible. And I believe he still has more potential in his vocal area to do acrobatic vocal. He has the chops. Watch for the tempo and the melody though,it's always bordering on boring or sleepy. Plus,his fans should sue Randy. It's ridiculous that he said Anoop is better on soul songs while he's always insisting for Anoop to sing uptempo ones. I'm so upset with Randy. Btw fire the director too,the camera is getting worse)
- Scott MacIntyre (it's great that he can play electric guitar but his delivery was very awkward. It's like William Hung 2.0 and the high notes were too much to handle for me. It's so bad and BIG FAIL!!!! Please go home tomorrow,Scott!!)
- Allison Iraheta (OMG!!!I love this performance. The best performance of the night. I knew from the beginning that if she sang this song it'd be amazing. Tender,heartfelt,has rock-ish tone in her voice but not too much. Just the perfect combination. Great job!!)
- Matt Giraud (hmm good but the notes in the end were awful. It's beyond me that the judges didn't call him on that one but blasted him last week.)
- Adam Lambert (a hauntingly beautiful performance. It's like a game soundtrack too,melody wise. No one can reach Adam at this point. He's too far ahead in the competition. I hope it's between him,Allison and Kris in the finale 3)

American Idol Season 8 Top 9 Result Show
Group song was horrible,it's lip-sync again. Gosh,I hate the lip-sync. Please,eradicate it all together. Btw there goes Adam's chance to sing "Don't Stop Believing".
Danny's impersonation of Matt's vibrato was ouch. The same with Anoop's impersonation of Kris's jaw when he's singing. That jokes are so offensive,kudos for anyone who doesn't take it to heart.
WTH!!!Ryan said one group is in bottom 3 so it's Megan's group then!!Oh no,Kris!!!

I wanted you to sing one song by Bjork and I'm sure it'd be masterpiece but oh well.....what can I do.

I think Megan has right to her opinion,it's very confusing to adhere to judges's desires and people's desires. You got to choose which one to follow.
